Ultran used non-contact ultrasound to inspect Nomex and aluminum honeycomb cores of various thicknesses and cell dimensions.

Ultran 使用非接触式超声波检测技术，对不同厚度和单元格尺寸的 Nomex 材料和铝蜂窝芯材进行了检测。Ultran’s technology is capable of accurately inspecting very thick panels. Non-contact ultrasound can detect core damage and delamination of the honeycomb core and skin. Focused NCU is capable of very high resolution for detection of small defects.

Ultran 的技术能够精确检测非常厚的板材。非接触式超声波检测可以发现蜂窝芯材和表层出现的损伤及分层现象。聚焦的 NCU 技术能够实现极高的分辨率，从而能够检测出微小的缺陷。
